La memoria del mundo inca
Jean-Philippe Husson
In The Memory of the Inca World, the greatest scholars of the figure and work of Guaman Poma analyze, together with their students, unknown or little-known aspects of his life, origins and intellectual formation, the purposes that the author proposed in writing his chronicle and the fascinating details of the complex process of its composition, as well as the historical and cultural context in which it was given.

Furthermore, the book shows how each page of the New Chronicle contains fundamental information about the Inca world, which without the visionary work of the brilliant chronicler from Ayacucho, who belonged to an ancient family of curacas-quipucamayocs, would have been lost forever.

This book, edited by Jean Phillipe Husson, belongs to the Andean Studies Collection 19, directed by Marco Curatola Petrocchi.
