Alejandro Balaguer
This book showcases the photographic work of its author in his quest to understand the water cycles and the need for the conservation of water resources in different areas of the American continent. His research took him to the Peruvian Andes, the lakes of southern Chile, the jungles of Central America and the Antarctic seas. The contributions by important environmentalists that the book includes emphasize the need to reach international consensus on the protection of the world’s water resources. The book’s prologue is written by Dr. Alan García Pérez, president of Peru from 2006 to 2011.
