Biography
Juvenal Silva is a Peruvian biologist from the National University of San Antonio Abad del Cusco. In 1996, he began his work in Manu as a researcher at the Cocha Cashu Biological Station. He worked on the evaluation and monitoring of faunal diversity in the Tres Cruces Altitudinal Transect as part of the ProManu Project. He was the coordinator of the Eastern Andes Conservation Project in Peru. In 2007, he began working with the Frankfurt Zoological Society and is currently the coordinator of the Forest Protection and Sustainable Resource Management in the Manu Biosphere Reserve project.
