Biography
Dr. José Antonio Ochoa is a biologist from the National University of San Antonio Abad del Cusco. He holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the National University of Córdoba in Argentina and has completed two postdoctoral fellowships: one at the American Museum of Natural History in New York and another at the Institute of Biosciences at the University of São Paulo. He is the author of several scientific articles and book chapters on biodiversity, systematics, biogeography, and conservation. Currently, he serves as the project coordinator for the Frankfurt Zoological Society and as a professor at the Faculty of Sciences of the National University of San Antonio Abad del Cusco.
