Born in Cusco, Peru, in 1977, he is a biologist from the National University of San Antonio Abad of Cusco and has completed a Master’s degree in Climate Change and Sustainable Development. He has authored scientific papers on the use of natural resources in native communities of Manu. Since 2007, he has worked in Manu, initially focusing on wildlife research and agroforestry, later shifting to conservation and management of Manu National Park. He is currently a specialist in natural resource use in Matsiguenka communities.
