Jan Van Oordt is a peruvian chef and businessman who started his career working in the distribution area in the United States. Back in Peru, he specialized in bars and lounges and worked at The Piano and The Edge. He then opened his own catering business and his first restaurants, including the Osaka, which became one of the best Peruvian-Japanese fusion restaurants. He was chosen by the Louis Vuitton and Möet Hennessy Conglomerate to design the menu for the Rincón Gourmet restaurant in the Asia Boulevard (Lima). Invited by Promperú, he has represented Peru in international festivals in Tokyo and Hong Kong. He has been Resident Chef for the Chivas Studio festivals in Sao Paolo (Brazil) and Punta del Este (Uruguay). He owns the Sense restaurant in Lima and the Páru restaurant in Buenos Aires, the latter being considered one of the best restaurants in that city.
