Biography
Jaime Mariazza holds a B.A. degree in History of Art, a postgraduate degree in History of Art, an M.A. degree in Peruvian and Latin American Art and a Ph.D. in Peruvian Art from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (Peru). He also holds a B.A. degree in History of Art from the Universidad de Barcelona (Spain). He is currently a professor at the Academic-Professional School of Art of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos’ Literature and Social Sciences Faculty, and also teaches at the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture’s Conservation and Restoration Laboratories. He has published several articles on different subjects related to Peruvian colonial art, and has participated in the preparation of several art-related books and magazines.
